Stashed away

So I tend to stash away things particularly linens. What happens is when I see ones that catches my eye I know I have to snatch them up because they of course being vintage you will never see it again. So I have a stash saved for some future use as a skirt, a pillow, curtains, or maybe what they were even originally intended for. Recently I have been getting them all out and decorating with them. While doing this I found some white yellowed, dingy pillow cases. I decided to give them new life by dying them. This is one of my favorite things, bottles of RIT Dye bring me much pleasure. Now my girls are fighting over them.

Red sculpture

I love the lines of this against the sky. Also the stark red color and reflective light makes it so striking. This is located on Clover Island, Kennewick, Washington.
